Moms seem to have intuition and a connection with their children that dads just don't have. Moms' ears are attuned to their children's cries and can hear the faintest wimper. Moms can read all the different kinds of cries and know how you're feeling just by listening to the type of cry you're crying. Moms know just what will make you feel better when you're sick and take care of you until you're better. I want my mommy!

I've been up all night since midnight going back and forth to the bathroom. It's been a stinky ordeal to say the least. Coupled with my intestinal problems (possible intestinal parasite), was a spot of indigestion from last night's dinner. I could have vomitted, but luckily it chose to come out the other way. By morning, I was completely exasperated and just wanted my mommy. Sometimes when I get sick, I'll call her and whine about how I'm feeling, and then she makes me feel better over the phone just like if she were here taking care of me.
