She's so cute! - H
The highlight of my day today was visiting school and seeing one of the APs while I was waiting in line to drop something off. He comes by and talks about how cute he thinks Baby is. I'm thankful for the complement and of course play it down like a good Asian should, to which he responded, "I don't know. She has a pretty cute face." I don't show it, but that just made my day, and always makes my day. If anyone calls Baby cute, I just feel really happy about it. I'm just proud of my Baby J.
So, we co-sleep with Baby. We're going to move her to her crib at the end of the month after our travels. Anyway, she starts in the middle of the bed, but then always wiggles her way into my armpit. I'll move her back, and then there she is again! It's kind of cute, but it really leaves me a bit sleep deprived because it leaves me about 18" at the edge of the bed to sleep while E gets all the rest (the rest of the bed and restful sleep). (sigh) I love waking up to her, but I'm getting to the point where I'd like to get a bit more sleep. (sigh) Soon...
Today is Baby's 3 month birthday. As of today she is 17lbs. and 4.8 oz. and 25.5". Believe it or not her weight gain is stabilizing. She's only gained roughly 2 lbs. in the last month which I believe is about the average rate.

is denying the reality of a compliment really "good" even if our culture of origin indicates we should? i think it's good to be humble since all good gifts come from God above, and i think it's just fine to blend cultural mandates and say thanks sometimes.
