Jump for joy - H
So, I lost my wallet on Friday. No surprise. I tend to absent minded about things that I carry in my hands. All the more reason to carry a purse I guess, but I just don't want to. Actually, I've carried a purse in the past and have left that in places too. I just don't like carrying things in my hands. I've been better about losing things like that as I've gotten older, though.
Anyway, the kicker was that inside the wallet was 2 lift ticket vouchers that I purchased for our ski trip the next day. There was also a little bit of cash inside which I never usually carry. So losing my wallet is usually more of a hassel for me b/c I have to cancel the cards, get a new license, etc., but this time it was worth the cash inside plus the lift tickets. Ouch!
Well, eventually, I came to the conclusion that it was stolen. E and I were worried about identity theft b/c my SS card was in there and were trying to learn about how we can keep an eye out for that, BUT we found it! It turns out that it was hiding under one of the seats in the car and we just missed it. We checked both cars, but it was 5AM and dark. When E found it, he came up and we hugged, jumped, and giggled for joy!
So, we have non-refundable vouchers to Kirkwood, now. Let's go!
