Choices - H

2 more periods to teach until it's SPRING BREAK!!! I actually have a lot of work to do over the break of which I will probably do half, more if I'm really on top of things. Break is for relaxing, and although breaks often result in working for a teacher, I've decided to take control and relax rather than to let work take my life over. I am swamped with grading though, and I will have to cut my break short to work.

I've had to make a lot of choices these days which have forced me to consider what will I give up in order to have something else. Nothing that's all that significant, but choices that make me realize that I can't have it all, that I have to pick which piece of the pie I really want. Until now, I've been able to neatly fit my wants into my life with room to spare, but it's getting harder to do that. I really want the whole pie, but ultimately everything costs me something, money, time or something else. What's more important? Gosh, growing up is hard to do.
