I love red! - H

I got a new pair of shoes today. They're amphibious shoes, waterproof, and they must also have some kind of antibacterial coating of some sort b/c they're smell-resistant. The designers were pretty thoughtful about creating this shoe b/c the design is very sensible and they are very comfortable. Plus they were on sale and the color is absolutely brilliant, berry with fluorescent orange contrast stitching. For those who are unaware of my color preferences, I love blue-based shades of red and vivid colors.

I must admit this is not the most practical purchase I've ever made, b/c I don't know how much I'll be able to actually use these shoes for what they were made for - going in the water...which is interesting b/c E and I have been looking for a good pair of amphibious shoes or aqua socks for quite a while...mais pourquoi? Most of the time, what sells me is the workmanship or the technology that really make a product great, its sensible design and quality construction, in addition to its stylishness, especially when it comes to sporting goods...but no, today it was all about the color... and the sale I guess...but really the color. I love red!
