It's over! Ahhhhhh! - H

Summer is over! The dreaded day is nearing (in 3 days), the day when I have to go back to work. I've planned my calendar for the first unit and almost finished my first lesson plan. Many ask, "Well, don't you just use the same lessons from year to year?" Well...no. I guess I never like my lessons enough to keep them from year to year. I'm always thinking that there must be a better way to do things, and besides, it gets boring after a while to do the same thing year after year, five times a day. I keep many of the same activities, and of course the content remains relatively constant, but I pretty much plan every day...but planning has gotten much easier since I have some experience under my belt.

Once I get into the swing of things, I usually end up saying that I really like my job and I'm happy to be working, but getting myself to the first day of work is like trying to get my butt off the couch to work out. I'm reluctant to start, but after the workout, I feel good and am glad I did it. It's just a matter of getting started.

T-3 days until my first work day. T-10 days until the first day of classes. AHHHHH!
