Back to life, back to reality - H
This used to be one of my favorite songs when I was younger. I don't know who the artist is or anything, just that it has a catchy tune and catchy lyrics. My sister introduced me to it. I was looking at some of our photos from the summer, and this song popped into my head. Being in the Canadian Rockies seems like a lifetime ago, almost like a dream. I miss it.
Anyway, E and I are going to spend my next 3-day weekend out in nature. I'm looking forward to it even though we're expecting it to get down to the 30s overnight. I was looking at some of our pics from Banff, and I just miss being surrounded by nature and taking pictures. (SN: Gosh, I really need to make a living out of that!) I just need a taste of heaven before getting back to the daily grind, to reality. (SN: Why does "reality" always have such bad associations? Reality doesn't have to be a bad thing.) I have been enjoying myself quite a bit at work this year, much more than I expected, but I must say that I'm beginning to feel fatigued. Just 10 or 11 weeks until the end of the semester. I can make it!
