Come and gone - H
June 30 has come and is nearly gone...and baby hasn't arrived. Today of course was her official due date, and if she doesn't make her grand debut sometime before the 5th, she'll be forced to leave the comforts of my belly. Poor girl, but I can't say I'm opposed.
My parents have been here for a few days now. It's been a pretty good experience so far, actually. My dad has planted his garden of veggies in the yard, and my mom got to work cooking, her first project being a batch of kimchee from scratch, made from red pepper powder grown and ground by my aunt in Korea. She's also into knitting and picked up my knitting project that I never finished. My dad has also been relearning his computer skills and reads the Korean news online daily now. He also loves Sudoku puzzles and has been keeping himself busy with a book full of them. Considering that my parents are in their 70s, they're both pretty sprightly and sharp. I'd say they're young at 70.
(Sigh)...but no baby yet. We're still waiting.
