Baby is here! - H

So, in case you haven't heard, baby is here. She was born on July 5th without an induction. She's been home with us for about a week now. She was a whopping 9lbs 4 oz, and she was 21.25". We are absolutely thrilled she's finally here and that we finally got to meet her.

Thoughts...

I opted for the epidural. I regret it. I made a split second decision in reaction to the pain which for me wasn't the best decision. We'll probably do a bit more research next time about doulas and such.

Labor is another one of those things (along with morning sickness) that makes me wonder why I would want to get pregnant again. So is the pain of delivery.

Delivery introduces this wonderful little person into the world that's all ours to nurture and care for, but eliminates the fun of having her moving inside me and day dreaming about her.

We've had her for just over a week, and I already feel like she's growing up. My eyes well up with tears just thinking about that.

I love her so much already. Lord, give us wisdom to raise her well.
