Highlights - H

I look at earlier photos of baby, and I look at her now, and she seems big to me. When I look at her from afar, though, I realize that she is still small...but getting bigger...and cuter, at least to me. We had a major victory today. Baby drank a whole 1-1/2 ounces from a bottle! We've been working with her for several days now to try to get her to drink from a bottle with minimal success, but today was the day. Hopefully she'll keep this up.

I can tell that Baby's vision is getting better and better. Lately, she'll lay on the playmat and just stare at the toys or her reflection in the toy mirror. I think she tries to grab the toys too, but she has such limited control of her limbs that it's hard to tell. I can tell when she's looking at me and actually sees me. I love that she can see me! (Does that sound silly?) Before she would look in my direction and then stare at the white wall behind me. She smiles a lot too. She has sunshine eyes, so when she smiles she looks so happy. It's really cute. I just want to eat her up.

What do I do lately...Well, I eat a watermelon about every 2-3 days, by myself, which is why I'm ecstatic that vendors are now selling watermelon at the farmer's market. We bought our first one last week, and it was deee-licious! Have I told you just how much I love the farmer's market?

Baby is sleeping right now. She's so peaceful. I just want to eat her up.
