Darn batteries! - H
I went to a wedding today, and brought my camera to capture some moments and also to fulfill one of my photo assignments. So, I pull it out, all ready to roam and snap. I also got a seat on the aisle toward the front so that I could get some of the more intimate shots during the ceremony. One of the best images I remember in my mind was when the couple was honoring the parents. It was of the bride as she was crossing the aisle after hugging her parents to greet the groom's parents. Her eyes were welled up with tears. She briefly turned back though as if she'd forgotten something, and it was as she was looking back, this moment that caught my eye. What a beautiful moment, a beautiful image of the bride. Of course... I didn't record it b/c my camera ran out of batteries at the beginning of the ceremony. Ahhhhh!!!!! I will now carry lots of film and extra batteries around. Since I've never really used my camera so much, this has never been an issue, but of course, when I was going to get really serious about trying to crunch out some great images, I'd have to overlook batteries.
