Some random thoughts - H

So, we are leaving for the mountains tonight and hitting the slopes tomorrow, but I have mixed feelings about it b/c we're going to Sierra which is small and I haven't heard rave reviews about it from anyone I know who's been there. Maybe it's a nice way to get back into it and get used to the feel of the board again. I think I feel confident enough to try a jump or two...we'll see. (I said this already, didn't I?)

One reason to get married in the city in which you live is that you probably won't have to wait more than a year to get your wedding album. It's hard to go in and meet with the photographers to determine the layout of the album, then to do a final check to make sure everything is okay. We're going to do the final check of the prints for our album over break. We still have to order the prints for the parent albums and then decide which we'd like to have enlarged for ourselves. Argh. I guess we could have skipped the final check of the prints and had them mail the album to us by now, but this is one of those one shot deals, and I just want to get it right.

I'm not saying that I regret having our wedding in Chicago though, and with a few minor adjustments, I would do it all over again and have it just the same. All the details came together nicely.
