Yea mountains! - H

Oooh...E and I get to hit the slopes this weekend for the first time. Yea! It's been raining down here so that means fresh powder. Most of the resorts are only partly open though, since it's still early in the season, and our favorite part of Kirkwood (a ski resort) hasn't been open. Bummer. I'm sure the mountain will beat me up. I'm out of shape, but I'm just excited to get out and be active again.

The way things are, it seems like the fall is the part of the year where my body gets little or no activity b/c I start working again and it gets a lot busier. Then, ski season starts, and after ski season, we try to get ready for Bay to Breakers. Then there's the summer where we have all kinds of time to play sports, go hiking, etc. Last year, I was lean and strong like a horse =P...but that also had a lot to do with our trip to Europe and all the hiking we did in the Alps and walking around Paris.

Ornaments are going up on our tree. Yea! Traditions like that make a home...feel like home.
