spoiled food and a brake job - E

I don't know why, but I've been stubborn about eating this container of TJ's rice pudding that we had in our fridge. The expiration date was something like June 30. For the most part, it smells ok, but I just ate some, and it's left a slightly sour taste in my mouth. And it may be coincidence, but my stomach is twisting a little bit. I finally threw away what was left.

On the car front, I replaced the front brake rotors and pads on our Nissan last night, with Calvin's help. The left side took about 1.5 hours, but the right side only took about a half hour or so. Good thing we live in Cali, or else I might've had to beat those rotors off with a mallet. It felt pretty good to tackle a job like that. And now the awful squeaking noise is gone from the front brakes (darn you Zuccato's!). I'm still alive, so they must be installed correctly (for the most part).

I mentioned to one of my co-workers that I just did the front brakes last night, and his response was, "Again?! Didn't you do them pretty recently?" Chagrined, I told him that these were the rotors and pads that I had bought a year ago. Guess that tells you how good I am at putting things off.

Anyways, now it's on to the rears and then bleeding the brakes. Woo!!! Hopefully I'll be able to do them in a more timely manner than the front brakes.
