Ahhh... - H

We moved last weekend further north to Sunnyvale, and WE LOVE IT!! We breathe with a sigh of relief that we are back in our old neighborhood. So, what's great about our current home is that we can walk everywhere. It's all very convenient. I especially love that I'll be able to walk to farmer's market on Saturday mornings, and we can drive to the Mountain View farmer's market on Sunday mornings before church too. (It's just a bigger farmer's market with a more variety.) We haven't really gone to farmer's market since moving down to San Jose. That made me really sad.

I'm excited that I have a backyard, and I hope to do some gardening, maybe grow some herbs, maybe some fruit and veggies, and maybe some flowers. I have to worry about keeping those squirrels away though, and I have to learn how best to grow all of these things. My dad loves plants, and so does my big sis. I think it must be in the blood.

We're slowly getting settled, organizing and purging. Purging has become one of the most satisfying activities. I think it's about minimizing clutter and creating physical space which I think reflects our insides to some degree. (Does that sound too new agey?) Anyway, I find a lot of satisfaction in it.

It's a good time of year for a garage sale, and if anyone is interested selling your stuff at our place let us know. I figure with our proximity to downtown Sunnyvale it might be a good spot to have a garage sale on a Saturday morning/afternoon, and with everyone migrating this way, it seems like an opportune time. We even have a garage, so it can be a legitimate garage sale. =) Just something I've been thinking about.

Baby's coming in less than 5 months. Eek! That also means I have about 4 months of work left.

Hey, did you guys buy a place? Congratulations on your baby, too! I can't believe I haven't told yout that yet! sigh...if only school left me a little more time to do things like catching up with old friends and finishing unpacking our boxes.
