Avocado Baby - H

I haven't posted about baby in a while. So, avocado baby is about 4.5" long and about 3.5 oz. and will go through a tremendous growth spurt in the next couple of months. Baby's eyes and ears have migrated to about the right place now, and the circulatory and urinary systems are working...so baby pees into the amniotic fluid. Hm...I wonder if it's waste ridden or not b/c I don't want to be carrying around urine in there, and I'm sure baby doesn't want to be swimming in it. I think I've been feeling some poking down there, but I can't be sure. It feels like gentle poking to me or like small bubbles are bursting as they float to my belly's inner surface. It's kind of early though, so it could be another kind of bubble altogether...but I actually think it's baby.

Along with the joys though has come some stress about the more practical side of entering parenthood, which has been overwhelming. Having a baby is more complicated than you might think.
