Ah...the new year - H

Ah...the new year. The last 2 years have been pretty eventful. I thoroughly enjoyed my last year as a twenty-something in '06, and in '07 I celebrated a few major life changing events. First, I turned 30, which isn't necessarily that life changing. Then, I stopped working, and then I had a baby. I think that's enough for one year. I'm looking forward to '08, to growth in most if not all aspects of my life. I'm thinking that'll be the theme for the year. 2006 was about taking risks. 2007 was about change. 2008, I think, will be about growth which will probably include taking more risks. Now that I'm out of my twenties, I just feel more grounded and like I have a more mature perspective on life and about myself. That's a really good feeling. It's freeing.

So, here's to growth.
