Work on the house - H

We did some work on our house today, and with the help of some very generous people we ripped out all the carpet, took down most of the cabinets in the kitchen, and moved the old, nasty fridge out of the house. There are pretty nice existing hardwood floors, and it made a world of difference to finally get rid of the filthy carpet that was on top. I think it made the house smell better too which makes me wonder just what was hiding in it. Tomorrow the house will be fumigated for termites. They are everywhere, and they're eating pretty well judging by the prevalence of termite pellets. I hope this whole process goes by quickly and smoothly.
