Woh WOH wohwohwoh! - H

Julia has a cold and has been congested for a few days now. It gets to the point that while she's feeding she has to pull off and take a breath b/c she can't breathe through her nose. So, at those moments I decide that I'm going to do her a favor and extract the mucous from her nose with a nasal aspirator. At first she was intrigued and would tentatively let me put the thing to her nostrils while she waited to see what would happen. The look on her face was precious! After the novelty wore off she avoided it. Now it's a physical struggle to suction the snot out of her nose.

Well, it goes without saying that she cries, wriggles around, shakes her head wildly so that I can't get to her nose. I'm pretty tenacious myself though, and I don't give up. What cracks me up though is that after a while she starts verbally retaliating in this voice that sounds like she's lecturing me. "Woh woh wohwohwoh! Woh WOH wohwohwoh!" She's telling me, "I don't like when you suction my nose. Can't you tell?! That means you should stop doing this to me!" Hehehe. My baby amuses me so much!
