Autumn - H

There is something I thoroughly enjoy about autumn. On the surface it's the weather which brings out the fall clothes and the hot tea and time spent in coffee shops warming up to a cup of hot, spiced cider. Maybe it's that it precipitates the holidays which brings out warmth from the heart from all kinds of people and all the festivities that come at the end of the year. It's all of the above and more. There's something about autumn and even winter that's so nice, and I think it has to do with warmth (obviously not the warmth from the weather). I'm enjoying it already.

J has become more attached to E these days which I love b/c when we're out, she prefers E a lot of the time. She wants to sit in his lap, and he has to follow her over there where there's something she wants to see. I love it b/c then I have some time to talk to adults and am off baby duty for at least a little while. Still, when she hurts herself she reaches for me or when she wakes up the first word out of her mouth (besides, "hehwo") is "mama."
