Dogs and paint - H

So, my contractor has a border collie. I love his dog and so does J (although she's just interested in all dogs...actually all furry animals)! The thing about border collies is that they are a ton of work and probably wouldn't work well around kids like J. The dog would knock her over and corral her like an animal. I've developed a bit of an attachment to the idea of getting one though, and the idea of a different kind of dog just doesn't satisfy. I don't know that we'll actually get a dog, especially if we want to have more kids, but it sounds fun although I know there's another side to the coin.

So, the house color is growing on me. I like it after the sun's gone down, but I still cringe when I see it midday. The interior colors have been painted though, with the exception of the master bedroom. Woohoo! I love the colors so far! Can't wait to move in...although I sort of dread the move. Hopefully it'll be the last one for a while.
