Another day - H

I finally bought J some cold weather clothes today. I'd been holding out since her summer clothes still fit her, and so I was trying to get a few more uses out of them. Plus, we've been having some summer-like days recently. It has been getting colder though, and I'd been rotating J through the same 3 long-sleeved tops and finally decided that it was time to bite the bullet and buy her some clothes. She's at the point where she's starting to grow into the next size anyway, so that made me feel better about it.

I was planning to do a bit of shopping for myself too. However, when one is toting a toddler around the mall, one doesn't get very far before the little toddler has a melt down...or at least decides that she doesn't like the stores where mommy shops b/c there are no fun toys to play with or other kids to look at.

One of the things I find annoying at the mall are all the people with stands in the middle of the hallways selling things like Dead Sea salt scrub or those hot pads you lay across your shoulders to help you relax. I definitely don't want what they're selling, and especially not when I have my kid with me, but I was approached by everyone today! I could have slapped someone.

I'm going to take a break from worrying about the house. We still need a shower door. I wanted to frame a few things and look into some rugs, buy some toys for J and set up a play area for her, but I'm going to let it go for now and just be. Maybe I'll go tear up the inside of the shed and get a work out. Too de loo.
