A great night - H

For the first time EVER, we left J with a babysitter that also put her down for bed! Yes, I know it's been nearly 2 years, but as easy as she is in general, that's not the case when sleeping is involved. So, we've been reluctant to put that burden on someone else and opt to stay home. BUT we found someone that will do it, that both we and J are comfortable with, and that really likes her too. As we were leaving, J simply waves good-bye without any protest what-so-ever. We were somewhat astounded and oh-so-grateful! Of course there was a price to pay...literally. It made going out to a movie a not-so-cheap date, but we were so happy...almost giddy that it was worth it. PLUS, the movie we saw (Star Trek) was really well done, so all in all it was a great night! I'd even call it a momentous occasion. No complaints.
