18 months - H

It's J's 1.5 year birthday today. It's hard to believe how quickly the time seems to be going. I know I say this a lot, but it's true. So, at 18 months, J is talking a ton, just starting to put two words together, remembers and retells things that have happened ("Hamimi. Eeping. Ba-bye!" translation - "Grandma is sleeping. I said bye-bye." or "Poopoo. Owie. Car. Diaper. Da-ee." translation - I had an owie poopoo and Daddy changed my diaper in the car."), is walking, running, and jumping around, pretends she's going to work and church in daddy's car, loves her Auntie Fia and Uncle Llll, loves Daddy, but comes to Mommy when she gets hurt or when it's time for bed, wakes up in the middle of the night and calls for Mommy b/c she wants to snuggle, loves her dolls and pretends to feed them, change their diapers, all the things we do to her. She even asks them if they're okay and tries to comfort them after they've fallen or after she's thrown them on the ground. She loves to clean up messes that she makes accidentally or deliberately so that she can wipe up the mess. She loves to deliberately spill milk from her sippy cup so she can "wipe it." She's a thrill seeker. She loves it when we hold her upside down, spin her around, pretend to drop her, etc. She loves music and asks for "Mee-no, singing" these days. She wants to witness everything and particularly likes to see what's going on in the kitchen. When she's done eating something, and we keep trying to feed her, she refuses and tells us, "-way," as in "put it away."

There's so much to capture and so much I want to remember. I can't get it all. sigh...
